If you guys encountered Update Fail error (especially after today's maintenance), try these troubleshooting tips first before you file a ticket in iBox. Note: These are alternatives only - we cannot guarantee that it will work.
Troubleshoot your Internet Connection
- Turn off/on or restart your internet modem. (Restarting your computer might help, too!)
- Check your connection because it might be intermittent or slow.
- Switch to another ISP.
- If you have mobile data on your phone, try to use it as hotspot and connect your computer to your mobile connection.
- Run the game. If it succeeds to Update Complete, wait for the launcher and click Game Start.
- Once the CABAL window completed its loading and the login screen appeared, try to reconnect back to your original internet connection.
Troubleshoot your Window's Security
- Try to turn off your antivirus, then open the game again. (Not really recommended to turn off)
- If it doesn't work, turn it on again, then add the whole Cabal Online PH folder in the exception list of your antivirus. (If it's already there, just try to re-add it again.)
Troubleshoot your Computer
- Run as Admin the game.
- Go to the Cabal game folder, right-click the cabalmain.exe file and click Run as Admin.
COPH in Server Maintenance Mode
The Update Fail error is normal if the game is currently down due to server maintenance or downtime. Visit the official page of Playpark CABAL Online PH to check if there is an ongoing maintenance.Alternative Solutions Not Working? File a Ticket in iBox
