Post-Event: Cabal PH's 9th Anniversary

It's been a blast! Let me just thank everyone first before anything else — Cabalists, thanks so much for those who came and celebrated Cabal PH's 9TH Anniversary with us!!! :)

As usual, I have 'pre-event' pictures. Being an event marshal means I won't be able to take pictures anymore when the event begins. So here's what I can share with you about my experience.

FORCE GUNNER BM3

For starter, here's a standee showing a Force Gunner [female] in Battle Mode 3! We are all waiting for this new battle style's patch — and hopefully it will be live by Thursday, July 6, 2017! No more waiting time, GMs, please? XD

 

FORCE GUNNER COSPLAY

I was able to take a selfie with Honey Pie, our force Gunner cosplayer! I only got one word for the Palladium gun - AWESOME! Whoever made this props for Honey Pie is surely a cool builder! There were 3 more cosplayers (Niyoma wearing FG BM3, Sharmae wearing Wiz in Drei Frame and Jobeth wearing GL armor) but I wasn't able to take a picture because we're so busy :(

Meanwhile, here are a few shots of the venue.

CABAL ARCHERY

The famous Cabal Archery is back! Just like last year, many gamers lined up to try out this cool and frustrating side event. Haha! For just 50 PHP you got 3 shots to win in-game items!

COMMUNITY AREA

The area on the right side of Skydome is our community area. The Cabal booth and the side tournaments/games were located here. Unfortunately, this area was so freaking hot as Porta Inferno — like where's the airconditioning units, did someone turn it off? The place was so small for 3 games, because Audition and SF booths are also setup here.

AS A PLAYER, HOW WOULD YOU RATE THE EVENT AREA?

• The community area was crowded.
• The air conditioning doesn't seem to be working, or not enough to handle such crowd.
• We have to shout or whisper/shout, in order to say something LOL.
• Players would want to watch the side tourneys, but the setup was not ideal for viewing.

HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE AS AN EVENT MARSHALL?

• Players approached/called me 'dandiely' — I think more players know me nowadays LOL
• It's fun but really exhausting, considering that we have to shout to facilitate side tourneys and assist player queries. Good thing we got the Casters as substitute in the afternoon — thanks guys!
• I didn't get to eat lunch :( I was losing my remaining energy, but was able to eat a quick dinner when the crowd subsided.
• Woke up at 6AM, arrived at the venue at 8AM, then went home 11:30PM (that's 17 hours in total)
• It's an amazing experience to work with the game masters/community manager/casters/moderators of Cabal Online — I've always loved being able to participate in the community gatherings :) 

Here's a picture of me holding the posters. Before the event, we rolled about 300 pieces of posters individually. What a tiring task LOL! And a remembrance — event ID LOL!
