How to go to Ynares Sports Arena

Via EDSA to Shaw Blvd [Map]

1. Sakay ng MRT3 at bumaba sa Shaw station.
2. Kung sa bus (with signboard na Crossing ibabaw), ganun rin bumaba sa Shaw boulevard.
3. Pumunta sa Parklea Center (cue, may Andoks dun, at katapat ito ng Starmall) at hanapin ang jeepney terminal.
4. Sumakay sa jeep with signboard: Pasig Palengke at magpababa sa may pedestrian lane bago mag-Ynares.
5. Sa jeep, nasa left side ng Shaw blvd ang Ynares. Katapat nito ang KFC Shaw branch na nasa right side.

Recap: PPXP 2018

Here's a recap showing our personal experience (with ratings) in attending the PPXP 2018 at Ynares Sports Arena last Dec. 22, 2018.

No #InfinityLine at the Entrance (Rating: 10/10)

When we when arrived at the Ynares Sports Arena at around 12 noon, there was no line!

Considering that we went there a bit late (yep, for the sake of not falling in line), we didn't expected to enter the event that smoothly. LOL

#InfinityLine at the Door Prize (Rating: 4/10)

I already expected the long lines, but I wished it can be improved. Maybe we can allot at least 5 computers for the first 2 hours of the event for registration.

Our DP numbers were around 450++ and we were called to register at around 8:30 PM.

The good thing was we can do other stuff while waiting to be called, like watching the stage programs, contests, performances, and raffle draws, and go out to eat.

Accessibility (Rating: 8/10)

It's my first time going to Ynares Sports Arena. There were enough public transportation vehicles to ride (jeeps, tricycles). We also expected heavy traffic on Shaw Blvd, especially due to holiday rush, but I guess we expected too much because the traffic was light-to-mod.

Parking spaces were also available and there were lots of nearby food stores where we can eat, too.

Ynares Sports Arena as the Venue (Rating: 9/10)

• The arena was spacious enough to accommodate all attendees.
• There were lots of seats.
• Air conditioning system was definitely 10/10!
• Comfort rooms also available.

PPXP Program (Rating: 8/10)

• Bands and group performances were good, but it's hard to talk to others because the sounds were too loud.
• Miss Q & A
• Miss Q&A for Cabal (Vera) won 1st Runner Up
• Cosplay competition - 2 of them are from Cabal Online:
• Fumei (Cabal Assassin) - Champion
• xMiyukiTakeno (German Dress)
• CABAL ambassadors roamed around the event area: Cabal Twins (Santa Coat and Cutie Santa Coat costumes) and Ghelai PH (Force Gunner)
• Raffle draws - I didn't win though haha!

Cabal Side Events (Rating: 7/10)

• I didn't join any side events haha, but from my seat, I can see that the Spin Off and Archery areas were fully loaded!
• YesPogi defended their throne as being champions in Cabal 5v5 Carnage! Congrats, guys!

Reasons for Coming to the Event (10/10)

1. To see guildmates and friends
2. To sign up for door prize (lol)
3. To support friends that joined the tourneys and contests

Overall, it's been an exhausting yet fun day! I hope everyone enjoy the day as well. \(^.^)/
