Failed to Connect to the Server Error using Converge ISP - Alternative Solution

Hey CABALists!

Are you a Converge ICT subscriber/user and you kept on encountering Failed to Connect to the Server error when connecting to Cabal Online PH? Or using the Converge ISP, you can only login to Crux Server, but again failed to connect to Orion and Draco Servers?

If any of your answer is YES, here's an alternative solution you can do to fix it.

How to Fix: Failed to Connect to the Server Error for Converge ISP (with dynamic IP addresses)

  1. Go to Google.com and type: What is my IP address?
  2. Take note of the Public IP address.
  3. Turn off your Converge modem for about 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Open your Converge modem.
  5. Go to Google.com again and type: What is my IP address?
  6. Does the Public IP address change from the previous one?
  7. If YES, open Cabal Online and try logging in.
  8. IF NO, repeat Steps #3 to #7.

What if the Public IP address changes but I still can't connect?

That's when we need to file a ticket in iBox.
  1. Go to: https://www.playpark.com/en-ph/help/ibox/
  2. Select: Game Related > Cabal > Cabal PH > Nature of Problem: Technical
  3. In the description, fill out the following details:
    • ISP Plan: (example: Converge Fiber X 1500)
    • Area / Location: (example: Mandaluyong City)
    • Current Public IP Address: (example: 123.456.78.9)
    • Error: Failed to Connect in Draco/Orion servers.

How to Fix: Failed to Connect to the Server Error for Converge ISP (with static IP address)

If your Converge subscription is for SME (business or higher mbps) like iBiz plan which costs P4,000 and up, you will likely have a fixed or static IP address (which means it doesn't change even when you turn off your modem).

You have to file a ticket in iBox in order to submit your IP address to COPH team.
  1. Go to: https://www.playpark.com/en-ph/help/ibox/
  2. Select: Game Related > Cabal > Cabal PH > Nature of Problem: Technical
  3. In the description, fill out the following details:
    • ISP Plan: (example: Converge iBiz 10)
    • Area / Location: (example: Quezon City)
    • Current Public IP Address: (example: 123.456.78.9)
    • Error: Failed to Connect in all servers.
Side notes:
This alternative solution may or may not work with other Internet Service Providers which have IP addresses that are not listed as IPs from the Philippines (which is why we can't connect).
I'm also trying to find another alternative ways for us Converge users to connect without having to turn off the modem (because it's so hassle), if you have any other ideas, let me know.

Does this alternative solution works for you?
